The TOEFL test is scored on a scale of 0 to 120 points.
Each of the four sections (Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing) receives a scaled score from 0 to 30. The scaled scores from the four sections are added together to determine the total score.
Each speaking question is initially given a score of 0 to 4, and each writing question is initially given a score of 0 to 5. These scores are converted to scaled scores of 0 to 30.

Four Specific Parts of TOEFL Exam

Reading Exam	The reading section is the first section of the TOEFL IBT test. It tests your ability to read and answer questions at an academic level. It contains 3-4 passages with each passage containing 12-14 questions for a total of 36-56 questions. Each passage is generally 600 to 700 words long.
Listening Exam	The TOEFL listening section contains 4 to 6 lectures with 6 questions in each, and 2 or 3 conversations with 5 questions each. To do well on the listening section, it's important to be familiar with unrehearsed speech and natural conversation.
Speaking Exam	The TOEFL Speaking section actually tests more than just your English speaking skills. It tests your ability to read, listen and understand recordings by native English speakers, pronounce words correctly, use appropriate grammar, and manage your time wisely.The Speaking section consists of six tasks: two independent and four integrated. They are evaluated on their ability to speak spontaneously and convey their ideas clearly and coherently.
Writing Exam	The writing section consists of two writing tasks. The first task combines the elements of listening and reading. You may be asked to listen to a lecture expert or a recording of a conversation, or you may need to read a short text.
